Committees
The Flagler County Chamber of Commerce is active on many fronts representing business interests, encouraging economic growth, collaborating with community partners, expanding member services and advocating on behalf of local businesses. Member committees play a significant role in these activities.
Volunteering to serve on a committee is a great way to learn more about the community and help the Chamber effectively promote and shape a favorable business climate. It is also a good way to build rich and rewarding long-term professional relationships.
As part of the Chamber's strategic planning session of 2012, the organization streamlined its committees to more effectively support the Chamber's mission and vision.

Business Issues/Government Affairs Committee
This committee discusses, monitors, analyzes and makes recommendations about public policy issues that impact Chamber membership and Flagler County’s business community. Membership is open to any Chamber member in good standing.

Economic Alliance Council
This council collaborates with local government and Flagler County’s Economic Opportunity Council on economic development issues. Membership is open to any Chamber member in good standing.

Frequency: Meets monthly, first Tuesday at 8AM
Membership Committee
This task force was formed in 2013 to set strategic priorities relating to membership. The group will identify and pursue ways to enhance the overall membership experience and to more effectively recruit, engage and retain members.

Diplomats Committee
Diplomats serve as community stewards of the Chamber, actively attracting, retaining and engaging members.

Eligibility: Invitation only. Must be FCCC member in good standing
Leadership Flagler Alumni Council
This group seeks to provide value-added counsel and programming to support the Chamber’s Leadership Flagler program. Leadership Flagler is a local Community Leadership Program that helps develop leaders who are committed to the growth of the community. Membership is open to any Leadership Flagler alumni.

Operations Task Force
This task force was formed to review Chamber operations and make recommendations to improve efficiency and profitability.
