Leads Groups
A business leads group is a group of members from different professions that meet regularly with the purpose of finding potential customers (or leads) for other group businesses. As members of the group speak with their own customers during the week, they try to identify people who could use the products or services from another member of their leads group. Talking up each other’s trades while conducting day-to-day business can lead to sales that might otherwise be missed.
The groups are made up of 30 or so Flagler County Chamber member businesses that meet on a regular basis to continuously exchange referrals and to expand their business networks. Membership in each group is limited to one person per business category, thus creating no competition for leads within any specific group. You'll find wide representation from nearly every profession -- mortgage brokers, Realtors, insurance agents, retail, hairdressers, auto repair, moving and storage, computer services, attorneys and more. The list is endless.
Each group appoints a chairperson responsible for running meetings and keeping track of who is receiving and sharing leads. At each meeting, members might be asked to bring one or more leads for other members, to bring a guest who may be interested in joining the group, to share networking opportunities with members, to give a presentation, and/or to give a testimonial of a received lead. While the meetings are definitely sociable, the purpose remains to grow business by establishing relationships with fellow members.
The cost of joining a leads group is insignificant compared to the potential rewards you receive by investing some of your time in colleagues who are also investing in you. Monday – Professional Business Network which meets weekly at 8am
Wednesday – Chamber Business Connectors which meets weekly at 8am
