Eligibility Requirements
- You must be able to address all criteria listed in the Award Evaluation Criteria section below
- You may only apply for one category (listed below). However, if you won last year, you may not apply for the same award again
- Must be a member in good standing with the Flagler County Chamber Of Commerce.
Award Categories and Evaluation Criteria
Most Innovative Product or Service Award
- Demonstrate why the company product or service is considered creative and innovative, leading to success in the marketplace
- Acknowledgement by peers or media for innovation in technology, invention, product, or service (provide supplemental materials such as testimonials and media recognition)
Most Innovative Marketing Campaign/Concept Award
- Demonstrate why the company marketing campaign is considered creative and innovative, leading to success in the marketplace
- Describe how the marketing campaign/concept provides a solution to current challenges your company is facing, including relevance to target audience
- Provide marketing samples
Excellence in Customer Service
- Demonstrate why the company's customer service is considered unique and/or the best quality service from beginning to end
- Demonstrate how you measure customer satisfaction and how you ensure responsiveness and follow through once a problem has been identified
- Provide customer testimonials
Outstanding Emerging Business of the Year Award
- History as an established Flagler County based business
- Show significant revenue growth in the past three years (financial statements required, but will remain completely confidential)
- Demonstrate how the company has emerged as a successful and growing business
- Describe plans to sustain growth and staying power
Small Business of the Year Award
- Candidates must have history as an established Flagler County based business in operation for more than three years
- Business shall have no more than 25 full time employees
- Show significant revenue growth in the past three years (financial statements are required, but will remain completely confidential)
- Demonstrate how the company has emerged as a successful and growing business
- Describe plans to sustain growth and staying power
Large Business of the Year Award
- Candidates must have history as an established Flagler County based business in operation for more than three years
- Business shall have more than 25 full time employees
- Show significant revenue growth in the past three years (financial statements are required, but will remain completely confidential)
- Demonstrate how the company has emerged as a successful and growing business
- Describe plans to sustain growth and staying power
Supplemental Materials Supplemental materials in addition to the application are highly recommended. Examples include photos, recognition in media (newspaper, TV, radio), letters of recommendation, testimonials, and marketing/promotional materials. Refer to the evaluation criteria in order to provide all necessary information for the category in which you are applying.
